Neisen developed ASAP into a leading automotive engineering partner / Handover of the chairmanship of the Management Board to Frank Petznick with effect from April 1, 2025.

With effect from April 1, 2025, Michael Neisen will hand over the chairmanship of the ASAP Group's management to Frank Petznick, Senior Vice President & Global Automotive Engineering Head HCLTech and Managing Director of the ASAP Group. Michael Neisen will remain active in an advisory capacity as Managing Director of ASAP Holding until June 30, 2025. With this long-planned generational change, the engineering partner to the automotive industry wants to continue its success story and at the same time focus more on international markets.

Under Neisen's leadership, the ASAP Group has developed into a leading engineering partner for OEMs and system suppliers. Neisen aligned the strategy with future technologies such as autonomous driving, electromobility and connectivity at an early stage. In addition to the clear strategic focus, the basis of ASAP's success was the high level of innovation and modern corporate culture shaped by Neisen. Under Michael Neisen, the ASAP Group continuously invested in the expansion of the service areas and the further development of the portfolio with a focus on Electrics/Electronics, Software, Consulting & Service, Test & Validation and Vehicle Engineering. ZF Friedrichshafen AG's investment in the ASAP Group from 2018 to 2023 laid the foundation for the expansion of the areas of autonomous driving and electromobility. The integration of the ASAP Group as an independent subsidiary into the global software and IT services group HCLTech at the end of August 2023 then accelerated ASAP's move into international markets. Together with HCLTech, ASAP offers expanded expertise in areas such as software-defined vehicles and automobiles as the Internet of Things (IoT), including new AI tools and methods.

“I have dedicated myself to the development of ASAP for 15 years with great commitment and joy. During this time, I have been able to work with numerous committed and inspiring colleagues, employees, customers and partners who have made a significant contribution to ASAP's success. I am proud of what we have achieved and grateful for the commitment of our team. The time is right for me to step back from the operational business and devote more time to my personal projects. In Frank Petznick, we have an experienced successor who will set new trends with his global perspective and innovative strength,” explains Neisen.

Frank Petznick brings with him extensive experience from internationally operating companies in the automotive industry. “ASAP is a special automotive engineering company that is characterized by its comprehensive expertise, its ability to shape trends and the enthusiasm of its employees for their work. I am delighted to be able to continue this history and lead it into the international arena. Together, ASAP and HCLTech offer tangible added value to both established customers and new players in the automotive environment worldwide thanks to their broad service portfolio,” says Petznick.
