Vehicle
Engineering

Our experts in Vehicle Engineering ensure valid test results. From the first idea to the implementation in the prototype.

We’re pioneers, paving the way for the mobility of tomorrow. A fundamental transformation in vehicle development has been underway for several years, shaped by trends such as autonomous driving, connectivity and alternative drive systems. We’re excited by the new possibilities these new technologies offer. From the initial idea to the design and modification of prototypes, development mules and pre-series vehicles. Our automotive development activities guarantee high-quality test specimens for valid test results.

Mechanical design

Catia, Siemens NX and Creo – we’re experts in them all. Our specialism? Intelligent solutions tailored precisely to your requirements. Our ASAP experts take care of the conceptual design and carry out feasibility analyses and studies, from geometric modelling and visualisation to detailed design. We specialise in virtual validation, DMU and efficient data management.

Equipment design

Functional. Ergonomic. Customised. We can handle the construction of jigs, gauges, measuring fixtures and assembly systems, from the design through to series maturity. Our ASAP experts create clamping and fastening concepts and manufacture jigs, including assembly, measurement and commissioning.

We have extensive expertise and many years of experience with pneumatics, PLCs and EPLAN. Our team specialises in virtual validation and creates RPS specifications and alignment concepts. We aim for the successful and punctual completion of all projects.

Pre-series Centre

Strict confidentiality. Privacy shields. Access controls. Designing and modifying prototypes, development mules and pre-series vehicles is the primary focus of our Pre-series Centre. We take care of updates for hardware and software components and ensure seamless complete vehicle commissioning. We’re squarely focused on electric drive and advanced driver-assistance systems.

Our experts code and parameterise control units for various derivatives such as MQB Baseline and MEBs. We carry out pre-commissioning on HILs, individual control units and at the test bench. Our sights are always set on high-quality test specimens and valid test results.

Wire harness architecture

We’re developing the intelligent, networked vehicles of tomorrow. Featuring unique levels of integration. Our wire harness development activities span the entire development process – from architecture design through to installation in the vehicle. We’re experts in all established development tools and assist with the creation of prototype and model wire harnesses. If you’re working towards approvals and homologation, we’ll be at your side.

Whether it’s virtual validation or physical testing, we specialist in both. But we’re one thing above all: efficient. Not least thanks the automation software we use, which we developed ourselves. Put simply, we are a reliable development partner for wire harnesses in future vehicle generations.
