Future-oriented automotive development: ASAP Group honored with TOP 100 Innovation Award

The ASAP Group receives the TOP 100 Innovation award for the eighth time in succession. The development partner to the automotive industry is thus once again one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany in 2024. The group of companies was particularly convincing in the categories 'Innovation success' and 'Innovation-promoting top management'.

Michael Neisen Auszeichnung TOP 100

As part of the annual TOP 100 innovation competition, innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examine the innovative strength of German SMEs in a special process. The researchers based their study on about 120 test criteria from five categories: Innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success.

The ASAP Group is one of the top innovators in 2024 for the eighth time in succession and has thus once again lived up to its claim as an innovator and technology company. Since it was founded, the development partner to the automotive industry has focused on the mobility solutions of the future - e-mobility, autonomous driving and connectivity. ASAP's almost unique growth in automotive engineering is due to its innovative strength: today, more than 1,700 employees work for the group of companies at nine locations. Michael Neisen, CEO of the ASAP Group, explains: "Innovation is essential for us. As one of the leading development partners for OEMs and system suppliers, we at ASAP have aligned our strategy with the mobility issues of the future right from the start." This is also confirmed by the ASAP Group's compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 26.5% since the company was founded in 2010. "The basis for our strong growth is clearly the power and innovative strength of the entire ASAP team. We invest specifically in continuous further development - not only of ASAP itself, but above all in the development of our employees. The TOP 100 award therefore recognizes the performance of all our employees in the ASAP Group, for whose innovation and commitment I would like to express my sincere thanks," says Michael Neisen.

Award-winning automation solution PAK (Process Automation Kit)
Reducing complexity, time and costs in development while at the same time increasing developer acceptance and quality - these requirements are met by the automation solution PAK, the Process Automa-tion Kit developed by ASAP. PAK is a framework for individual, reusable automation and complements common DevOps practices. PAK follows the principle of a modular system: development steps for specific developer roles can be defined, automated and reused for other processes. An OEM has been using the original solution for fully automated development in function and software development for ten years. Based on the requirements and findings from productive applications, ASAP fundamentally redeveloped the Process Automation Kit with state-of-the-art technologies from the DevOps environment. The reduction in complexity, time and costs as well as the scalability and technologies used also impressed the jury of the "German Innovation Award". Last year, they honored PAK for outstanding innovative performance in the category "Excellence in Business to Business - Automotive Technologies". TOP 100 - the innovation competition
Since 1993, compamedia has been honoring medium-sized companies with the TOP 100 award for special innovative strength and above-average innovation successes. The award identifies the most innovative medium-sized companies in a transparent, comprehensible and scientific manner. The decisive factors for success in the TOP 100 are not individual inventions, but the innovation management and the innovation success of the companies. Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his team evaluate the candidates in five catego-ries. They examine more than 120 parameters. The award-winning companies are usually trendsetters in their sectors, but often remain unknown to the wider public. For them, the award offers the opportunity to make their innovative strength visible briefly - to customers, suppliers, applicants and the media. You can find more information at www.top100.de.
